Ike and Ollie Hanging Out

The fellas were hanging out together around dinner time last week and they were lookin' so cute together that I had to stop making dinner and get out the camera....

Opening day for Husker football! Martinez was looking good and we came away with the win! 

And then.... 

This was a sad day... 

We were all wondering what the heck was going on with Bo last week. Glad he's fine. 

Like father like son. The tradition continues. Go Big Red! 

p.s. we need to get a red cloth diaper for game days. That green just won't do!

5 Month Pictures (a little late)

Like I say every time I post the monthly update photos, I can't believe how fast the time goes by. How is it September already? It is amazing how quickly they change. 

So here's some of what Ollie Does All Day at 5 months: 

- coos, gurgles, sputters and giggles

- holds on and tries to chew on his favorite green ball 

- holds his head up quite well

- kicks, squirms, stretches, reaches and rolls from side to side

- sucks on his hands and anything else he can fit in his mouth

- drools like a champ

- sneezes quite a bit

- still gets the occasional bout of hiccups

- watches people and things very intently when we go out

- smiles at himself in the mirror.... 

And takes 4 naps a day. It's no wonder with all the aforementioned activities. I'd be tired too. 

A Little Photo Shoot

A few weeks ago, a very kind friend of ours, who is starting a photography business, asked if she could do a little photo shoot with Oliver as a baby gift. The photos turned out just beautifully. Thank you Ginny! 

p.s. Ollie wouldn't really smile for any of them (of course!) that silly goose.
